EUROPEAN FINANCIAL REPORTING
In keeping with the EUFIN tradition, the 14th Workshop on European Financial Reporting will take place on 30-31 August 2018 at the Stockholm School of Economics (Sweden). The school was founded in 1909 and is one of Europe’s leading business schools, with a unique business-community network. Stockholm School of Economics (the workshop venue) is located in central Stockholm, within 15-20 minutes walking distance from the Central Station and attractions such as the Royal Palace and Old Town.
The workshop offers an opportunity for the meeting of academics and practitioners from all over Europe who are interested in recent developments and trends on financial reporting in Europe, with a specific focus on regulation and harmonization due to recent international developments. The workshop will feature two types of sessions: Parallel and plenary sessions.
Parallel sessions are designed to give sufficient time to present and discuss academic research papers whereas, the plenary sessions will run by practitioners and/or standard setters. These keynote speakers will aim at discussing practical implications of current features of and trends in financial reporting within Europe.
Stockholm is the capital of Sweden and the Stockholm area has a population of about 2 million citizens. The city is beautifully situated by the sea and hosts many historical and cultural attractions, ranging from Vikings to Alfred Nobel and ABBA.
Stockholm has three airports and is easily accessible from most main European cities. The main airport, “Arlanda”, has an express-train connection with the Stockholm Central Station.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Stockholm,
